FAQ

Who’s your ideal client?

Let’s call her Maya. Maya is well-informed about birth. She has done her research, asked questions, and taken a childbirth education class. Maya values support and has a birth team that will serve her personal needs and beliefs. She believes birth is beautiful and hopes to have a positive experience with the use of labor affirmations, a supportive team, and birth photography, of course!

How does this all work?

First you celebrate your pregnancy! Then you contact me to inquire about my availably in your due-month. We chat and when you decide to book, I’ll send you a booking proposal where you can pay your retainer and review our contract. I’ll go on-call for you at your 37 week gestation mark and we wait until baby wants to come.

What happens if I have to be transferred to the hospital?

In the case of a home/birth center birth - if you need to be transported to a nearby hospital, I will follow along and continue to document your birth story. It will be important for you to check with your doula/midwives to find out what hospital you would be transferred to in the case of an emergency and then contact them to find out their policy on photography in labor and delivery as well as the operating rooms.

When should I book you?

As soon as you have a due date! I only take about 4 clients a month so reaching out to me as soon as possible will ensure you can be one of them. I tend to book out 5 months in advance. You can book by shooting me a message here.
